ManageOps’s CEO Moderated “Defining Software Defined Storage (SDS)”

Bellevue, WA, January 28, 2014– ManageOps’s CEO, Scott Gorcester moderated a panel discussion on Software Defined Storage (SDS) at Bellevue’s City Hall, sponsored by ATI (Abasys Technology Inc.). Some of the topics discussed included HIPAA compliance, hardware comparisons, and technical flexibility of SDS solution sets. The audience asked questions like ‘How does SDS address problems like HIPAA compliance?’ and ‘Are there recommended configurations for getting started with SDS?’. Mr. Gorcester led the panel consisting of local experts including Steven Umbehocker, CEO and Founder of OS Nexus, and Paul Bibaud, Solutions Architect with Pogo Linux/Pogo Storage.  About the event, Mr. Gorcester said,
